Kings Canyon National Park
Established in October 1890, Kings Canyon National Park has the most outstandingly deepest canyon that is over a mile and a half deep in the United States.
Located in the southern Sierra Nevada, in Fresno and Tulare Counties, California, The park is a pleasant combination of mountains, alpine forests, marble caverns, and huge General Grant.
The park is spread over 461,901 acres of land and is divided into two distinct areas known as the Grant Grove and Cedar Grove.

Besides being a house of the second-largest trees in the world, Kings Canyon national park is also a home for bobcats, marmots, grey fox and pikas.

Best Time To Visit

The summer season of July to mid-September is the best time to visit the park and all the attractions of the park are accessible. The weather will be warm. Mid-September and October will be having warm days and cool nights with the limited crowd. Winter of November to mid-April will be best for doing activities like cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. April to June are best for seeing wildflowers and waterfalls.
